A 43-year-old man was in charge for deputies say he stole a Rolex watch from inside a locker at a Golden Gate Estates golf club and then pawned it for cash. After that, the thief was arrested.
According to Sheriff's reports, Tyree Wilburn reported the theft of his $10,000 Rolex watch from his locker at Calusa Pines Golf Club on April 4.
As is reported to us that a four-month CCSO investigation found that James Francis O'Leary. He was an employee at the golf club when the theft was reported, stole the watch.
Further investigation revealed O'Leary sold the watch to a Naples jewelry store in exchange for $5,000, reports.
O'Leary, 1866 Seville Blvd., Unit 1411, North Naples, was charged with grand theft $5,000 to $10,000, and dealing in stolen property.
